PDM founder, Kim Deitz, has always loved solving puzzles. Putting together the complexities of systems and the way your people work can be a bit of a puzzle as well. Because of Kim’s love for this kind of problem solving, PDM is uniquely able to help you put together a plan that makes sense from the start. We map the best software programs to give you one point of entry that ultimately leads to your final, desired outputs.
Prior to forming PDM, Kim worked as a lighthouse keeper in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was stationed in Hawaii. His job was to make sure that everything in both the manned and unmanned lighthouses functioned so that at night ships could find safe passage. Just as the lighthouse offers a critical guidance systems for the ships that pass in the night – failure really can spell catastrophe, having a business system to guide you is just as critical. What would happen if your human resources systems didn’t work and employees didn’t get paid? Kim and the entire team at Pacific DM understand what critical really means, and we make sure that everything about your payroll and the systems that support your human resources work, ensuring that you don’t crash into rocky waters.
“The biggest thrill I get is taking other peoples’ jobs and making them easier by using simple tools such as software,” says Kim, “As a consultant seeing hundreds of different situations, I’ve learned no two companies work the same, but the processes used are similar. Introducing software that gives the end-users better tools to complete their tasks is like handing a carpenter a power saw in a situation where he had been using a hand-saw before.”
Our team takes a step-by-step approach. We show you how to move from your existing solution, where you are typically drowning in paper to a less complex, more automated one. We are your guiding light to make all of the pieces of your payroll puzzle work together.
