Can I store my database on my server?
A: Yes. You are more than able to float your database on
your server. Just be sure to install FirstStep on your local workstation
and map your database to your server location.
Q:
How much is FAS FirstStep?
A: The product cost is $995 and an additional $295 for
annual SupportPlus.

Does FAS FirstStep keep up on Tax Compliance changes?
A: Absolutely! If you are a SupportPlus subscriber year
after year, you will receive updates automatically through Best
Software, Inc®.
Q:
SupportPlus? What is that and is it required?
A: SupportPlus is your technical support (via 800#, email,
fax and web site members lounge), product upgrades, and competitive
upgrade pricing. SupportPlus is mandatory for the first year. After
that, it's up to you to continue. However, if you need those compliance
updates, I suggest you keep renewing.
